Palo Santo - A sacred, natural wood incense that gives off a sweet-smoky aroma. This wood comes only from Peru.
Benefits- To create or purify sacred space, to cleanse negative energies or ties, to rid of misfortune, to protect yourself, your home, or belongings. Used for meditation, relaxation, anxiety, stress, for colds, & asthma. Also an effective cleansing tool to cleanse crystals with.
How to use- Hold from one end & begin to light the opposing tip, until it is lit with a flame. It may take some time to keep lit because of the nature of wood, but once the tip has been flaming for a minute, you may blow it out for the desired smoke effect. Wave this smoke into all corners, doorways, & into shadow spaces.
To cleanse a crystal- Begin with lighting your Palo Santo stick, hold the crystal of choice directly into the trail of smoke, around 3 inches (give or take) above the smoking end. You can close your eyes (but not necessary), & imagine the negative leaving, and welcome the positive intension that you would like to bring into this crystal. Hold over smoke for as long as you’d like, best if at least 30 sec.
